Bussiness Idea-NINE BUILDING BLOCKS
After several weeks of learning the basic skills of entrepreneurship,we've been assigned to create a business plan that concerns the society around us.So, here's our idea! For the past 2 months we (our group members) have heard complaints saying that many motorcyclist and drivers had faced difficulties in finding water access for them to wash car in UM. After few analyzing and made some discussions we have come to a bold decision to make Snow Wash in UM.
Today,it's all about getting to know about the keys in business. So here is all what our mentor,Miss Zhen had taught us.The NINE BUILDING BLOCKS!There are many ways, ideas and method to form a business plan and one of the ways is the Nine Building Blocks method. After defining our business idea we identify the problems or question that concerning and relates our idea with society. This is where nine building blocks come in handy.
1.Customer Segment
First of all customer segment or some'll say target marketing is one of the crucial things and roots for a successful business. Customer segment defines the different groups of people or organizations an enterprise aims to reach and serve. There a re lot of different types of customer segments.
To make it simple and easy, here we list out the potential customers and regulars:
- students
- lecturers
- outsider (since UM is a central place for intersection between Petaling Jaya & KL)
- advertiser
Why students and lecturers?Since they mostly prefer their own vehicles rather than public transport so it's most likely they are the ones who need our service.Outsiders will likely be one of the clients since they'll pass UM to cross between the cities.
2.Value Proposition(VP)
The Value Propositions building block describes the bundle of products and services that create value for a specific customer segment. This is the the reasons why customers turn to one company over another. It solves a customer problem or satisfies a customer need.
Here's is our VP,
- Unsatisfied? We'll wash it again for you.For FREE!
- Affordable service price.
- Collective points-One point awarded for every service & every a dozen points we'll wash for FREE.
3.Channels
The channels building block describes how a company communicates with and reaches its customer to deliver a value propositions. It' function as to create awareness about the services and products that we've offered.
This our possible channels
- Online-facebook,twitter,etc..
- Flyers
- Siswamail
- Petrol stations (near UM)
4.Customer Relationship
The Customer relationship describes the types of relationship a company esatblishes with specific customer segment.A company should clarify the type of relationship it wants to establish with each customer segments.
What we are doing is by promoting and encourage our clients by rewarding them with the syystem of collective points.

Review On The Intoduction of A Bussiness Plan
Hi again..Today,our group curiosity would like to introduce the story of our business blog model. The article that we post recently may seem a bit dull and we're sorry for that. However, today we would introduce the idea of business service oriented that we believe will help and ease the society.
Here's a quick view about what we've learnt.
1.PROBLEM STATEMENT
-We've learned that in this world there are always problems that we'll confront.
Hence, we're assigned to look for any one of the problems that had been face by the society.
2. BUSINESS IDEA
-After identifying the problem,so we're able to find the WH Questions..
The 'why','what','where' and 'how' questions. We'll elaborate this questions later on.
Basically, after we'd learned in the class we are assign to create a business model, then later turning the model into a business plan in a deck and able to create a business bitch(structured pitching session).
So,those are only the general ideas about what we'd learn in Miss Zhen's class and there're plenty more from what we've learn in her class. That's all for now I guess. We'll continue and discussed more about the idea of our SERVICE BUSINESS project on the next post. :)
